After experiencing 20 successful years as the proprietors of Polo/Ralph Lauren on Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, the duo wanted to fulfill their ultimate goal of providing a diverse collection of couture that would allow their clientele to create their own unique style from the world's top and emerging designers. Their vision came to life with Hudson & Jane, a name inspired by the classic signature styles found in certain neighborhoods in New York City.

With a new name and a hand-picked selection of items that range from couture to ready-to-wear, Rick and Flo Ann created a new opportunity for their clientele to have direct access to the best in fashion. In the Spring of 2008, Hudson & Jane found a new home at two locations in the Crestwood Shops, a destination reminiscent of the Old World neighborhoods that inspired the name. And though the location may have changed, one thing remains the same: as always, Rick, Flo Ann and all of the members of the Hudson and Jane family continue to provide the "finds" in fashion with unparalleled attention to their clients needs. Even more, they are most rewarded when they do more than just provide a wardrobe, but rather help a client discover his or her own signature style.
